You will receive a free personal career mentor, and receive recognition on a national level with an awards ceremony at the end of the year.

We welcome applicants from all degree disciplines including those outside our usual intake of Economics/ Management and Finance.

Positions up for grabs are as follows (please click here for full descriptions): President, Secretary, Treasurer, Events Officer, Marketing Officer.

We still have spaces for all committee roles!

To nominate yourself for a role/s please send an email with the position/s you wish to stand for to brightfutures@yusu.org or turn up TOMORROW and run for any position!

You will be required to prepare a
short speech about why you should get the position (1-2 minutes). If you are unable to attend on the night do get in touch and we will make alternative arrangements.

The elections are nothing to be nervous about (we are all friendly!) we just want the best candidates to get the positions. If you have any questions about the positions or how the elections work do not hesitate to get in touch.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

5th November (TONIGHT) 5pm - THE LEGAL LANDSCAPE FOR ASPIRING LAWYERS - LMB/037X

We've been working with Law Society and the BPP Law School to provide you with a series of events designed to help you with applications and assessment centres and to also teach you more about getting into the profession. Jo Pugh (Director of the LPC) and Clare Grant (Senior Academic at BPP) will be attending this session and will hopefully be bringing a couple of ex-GDL students who have studied the GDL and gone on to study the BPTC or LPC. One of the invited BPP students has also secured a training contract with Eversheds.

This is a valuable session for all interested in a career in law. To sign up, click 'Attend' on the

We hope to see many of you there!

Graduate Opportunities

Mackenzie Stuart Message from Nick Jenkins

“We are presently recruiting for our 2014 graduate scheme, and have about 20 openings to fill over the next 3 months. We are interested in speaking with talented, competitive graduates who are looking for a fast paced career, with the opportunity for quick progression and serious financial rewards.

We are an international search firm that places mid management to six figure board level appointments within Finance, Medical, Insurance, Law, Construction, Oil & Gas, Mining and Logistics. I would be interested to speak to anyone who feels they have what it takes to develop a career in executive recruitment. I have attached our graduate scheme brochure to provide further information.

During 2013 we recruited 27 graduates to almost double the size of our business, having moved to a new office in December 2012 in the heart of Leeds with the capacity for around 90. Given our growth plans it is very exciting times for our organisation. We are a young business, looking to grow to over 60 consultants over the next 12 months. Two of our top performing managers were set up with their own businesses in late 2013, and this is something we plan to repeat in 2014, with the same opportunity being open to future top performers.

I would welcome anyone to send me their CV and contact me directly for an interview, or just to learn more about our business. If you would like further information please visit our website www.mackenziestuart.com
