Hi everyone,

Just to clarify, the Bright Futures elections are TOMORROW (Monday 23rd February) at 6:30 on in W/222 (Wentworth 2nd floor).

We're looking for new committee members to take over the reigns at the Bright Futures society. All positions are great ways to add extra experience on to your CV and being on the committee is of huge advantage when applying for internships and graduate jobs.

As part of a national organisation, committee members are invited to exclusive recruitment and skills events with some of the biggest and best graduate recruiters, gaining close business contacts with key recruitment personnel in their respective companies. You will receive a free personal career mentor, and receive recognition on a national level with an awards ceremony at the end of the year.

We welcome applicants from all degree disciplines including those outside our usual intake of Economics/ Management and Finance.

Positions up for grabs are as follows (please click here for full descriptions): President, Secretary, Treasurer, Events Officer, Marketing Officer.

We still have spaces for all committee roles!

To nominate yourself for a role/s please send an email with the position/s you wish to stand for to brightfutures@yusu.org or turn up TOMORROW and run for any position!

You will be required to prepare a
short speech about why you should get the position (1-2 minutes). If you are unable to attend on the night do get in touch and we will make alternative arrangements.

The elections are nothing to be nervous about (we are all friendly!) we just want the best candidates to get the positions. If you have any questions about the positions or how the elections work do not hesitate to get in touch.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
